Shadowgate Deltora Quest 3

Shadowgate Deltora Quest 3 is a fantasy adventure/horror story by Emily Rodda.  Deltora is a land of monsters and magic.  There is an evil Shadow Lord and his foul creations, the evil sisters.











  The heroes of the story are Lief, Barda and Jasmine.  They set out on a quest to destroy the sisters and save Deltora.

The book is thrilling and exciting though sometimes it can be confusing with all the mysteries jumbling together. The story is very creative and clever and most of the time things happen that you wouldn't expect like their meeting with the friendly dragin in a cave. Once you get to the end of the story you start understanding everything better and will have enjoyed the story.

My favorite character in this story is Jasmine because she is smart and friendly. She saved Lief and would give up her life for her friends well fair. She also has an amazing talent which is to communicate with animals therefore she looks after two creatures who are useful in the adventure.

 
Here is a quotation from the book "There the sister of the north lay hidden, spreading poison and singing its song of death." I like this sentence from the book because it is dramatic and kind of creepy. It gives me the kind of feeling something is suddenly going to happen loads of people are going to die soon. I also like this sentence because you don't know if it's a metaphor or she actually has a song of death.
